The Green Lodge is less than 2.5 hours' drive from Edinburgh International Airport, and under an hour to Inverness. 

If you're driving from the south, come up the A9 and take the first Aviemore exit and then the B9152 towards Aviemore. At the roundabout in front of La Taverna Italian restaurant, turn right onto the B970. Drive for less than a mile, passing the Rothiemurchus centre and the Cairngorm mountain rescue HQ before turning left into Ski Road Cottages.

The station is just over a mile away and is on the Highland Main Line to Inverness. There are regular direct trains from Edinburgh and Glasgow plus a daily London service. In addition, the Caledonian Sleeper provides a comfortable overnight option.
